Tarzan at the Earth's Core
Private commission. The third painting in the series based on the stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs. There are a few departures from Burroughs' descriptions here, particularly regarding the Horrrib and his mount, but put it down to "artistic license". As the other two paintings were interior scenes I wanted this one to be a wide landscape, but a world where there is no proper horizon is tricky to visualise. I had a good time with it though.
