The Festering
This was my painting for Guy N. Smith's novel commissioned by Arrow. It got as far as being proofed but in the end it wasn't used. I suppose it might have been considered too extreme although my chum Terry Oakes used to get away much more "over the top " stuff. Interesting that the designer cropped the image in that way though. The eighties were a blood spattered time. Heh Heh! It was also used as a game card for Target Games Kult Inferno and on the book Traumas by Paul Kane. published by Black Shuck Books.
