Here you will find images created during my 35 year career as a professional illustrator. The major part of the work shown here was created for the purpose of book-jacket illustration but you will find a sprinkling of other things such as advertising, graphic novels, film posters, CD covers and some purely personal work too.

Although there are some old favourites covering the 1970s and 1980s in the Vintage Gallery, the emphasis is naturally on more recent paintings. For the sake of convenience the pictures are divided into categories which I readily admit are somewhat arbitrary, so don’t be surprised if a horror-ish image turns up in the SF category or vice versa.

There is also, of course, the inevitable About Les section, along with information on Buying Prints of Les's artwork, Licencing the artwork for professional use, and there is quite a lot of Original Artwork for Sale.

If you would like to use any of the images on the site as desktop wallpaper, please feel free to right-click on the full-size image and select the appropriate 'set as Background' or 'set as Desktop Background' option. They should fit most screen sizes quite well.
