In this painting I found myself, like most Brit Illustrators of my age, harking back to Dan Dare and the Eagle. I hope Frank Hampson knew what a profound influence he had.
Used on Science Fiction The Best of the Year 2006, edited by Rich Horton and published by Prime Books. Also used on an Estonian book cover and on a German paperback.
